Italy's Peter Fill wins downhill opener

LAKE LOUISE, Alberta (AP) -- Italy's Peter Fill won the opening downhill of the World Cup season Saturday, followed by Switzerland's Hans Olsson and Austria's George Streitberger.
Fill completed the course in 1 minute, 47.40 seconds.
Olsson was second in 1:47.56 and Streitberger was third in 1:47.61.
